After graduating with a Bsc (Hons) Degree in Sports and Exercise Science, I spent some time coaching windsurfing, sailing and skiing all over the world. I started practicing Pilates to improve my overall sports performance and since then have gone from strength to strength. On returning to the UK I trained and qualified as a Level 3 Pilates instructor, registered with the National Register of Exercise Professionals.
I continue to enjoy and practice Pilates as I believe that there is no other workout that provides such an integrated approach to training the whole body. Using Pilates I have increased my range of movement and flexibility and developed a stronger back and core muscles. This has resulted in an improved posture and increased overall strength, benefitting everyday movements and my sporting endeavours. I now want to pass these benefits on to you through teaching Pilates at Lowford Clinic.
