In 2012 Nick was selected as 1 of the 16 Sports Podiatrists to form the Podiatric Sports Medicine team for the GB London Olympic and Paralympic Teams. Furthermore he is currently the Sports Podiatrist for his local national league hockey club, Fareham Hockey Club and also provides advice for the Great Britain Ultimate Frisbee team.
Nick is currently completing his Masters degree at Brighton University reading Podiatry with Clinical Biomechanics picking up modules in management of sporting injuries and injection therapy. To continue his professional development Nick attends Podiatric conferences and lectures other health care professionals.
Nick has a particular interest in Exercise Induced Leg Pain and Plantar Plate injuries, having written treatment guidelines on Exercise Induced Leg Pain, Plantar Plate injuries, Turf toe, Sesamoiditis and Fribergs Infraction. Nick is currently working on an article on the use of Protein Rich Plasma (PRP) in sport.
